Ramp Control

FlyNYON is changing the way people experience the skies, making aerial production flights more accessible through technology and a combined 101 years of industry expertise.

As Ramp Control, you will be responsible for the safe and seamless experience of all FlyNYON photo flights on the ramp. This includes aircraft reconfigurations, passenger loading and unloading, communication with HQ Operations, in addition to general support to flight operations staff and pilots.

Duties

  • Safely control the movement of passengers and staff on an active ramp
  • Load and unload passengers off helicopters as per the FlyNYON SOP
  • Assist with helicopter door removal and installation
  • General support for flight operations staff

Terminal Manager

As a Terminal Manager, you’ll be responsible for the FlyNYON experience. You’ll be at the front line of customer engagement, so you’ll need to be quick on your feet; Communication skills are a must.

Candidates should have flexible schedules with availability 4-7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. Must be outgoing and friendly, understanding photography is a plus. We are seeking full time employees to support the brand.

Who We Need

FlyNYON is looking for an energetic team player with excellent written and verbal skills. Through in bound and out bound, our Customer Relations Team ensures that each guest receives a 10/10 NYON Experience. With this position, you will have the opportunity to build lasting relations with our customers that will extend through their scheduled flight and beyond.

Minimum Requirements

  • 1-2 years in customer service, retail, and/or hospitality.
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work onsite at our HQ in Kearny NJ
  • Ability to work on many different tasks simultaneously with attention to time sensitive deadlines
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with FreshDesk and Slack, or similar software
  • Aviation knowledge
  • Fluent in additional languages
  • A laptop computer

This position is available for immediate hours. We are currently hiring for seasonal part time members, with the opportunity to become full time. Perks include working in a 10,000 square foot terminal, flexible scheduling, and a dog friendly building. And yes, you’ll have chances to fly.
