Job Summary

NYONair is an aviation services company that bridges the worlds of aviation, customer experience, and media by offering a diverse and complementary suite of aerial products, social media reach and brand activations.

A continuously growing social media reach of over 1.2 million followers, NYONair exceeds aviation industry peers as well as contemporary, non-aviation, brands.

This position is for our New York City operation based in Kearny, NJ.

NYONair is looking for enthusiastic pilots for this upcoming season. Candidates will conduct NYC photography flights and FAR 135 Charter. Responsibilities include interacting with customers, double checking safety equipment, and working as a team player. Candidates should have flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. A short commute or relocation to the Kearny area is expected. Customer service experience a plus.

Minimum requirements:

FAA Commercial Pilot License

2nd Class Medical

1,000 hours Total Time

100 hours turbine

Airspace experience for the city of application is a plus

Who We Need:
As a Customer Experience Representative, you’ll be responsible for the first and last mile of the FlyNYON experience. You’ll be at the front line of customer engagement, so you’ll need to be quick on your feet, and have excellent communication skills. Our team thrives on outgoing members who are eager to support the brand, our staff, and our passengers.

Minimum Requirements:
1-2 years in customer service, retail, and/or hospitality.
A high school diploma or GED.
A valid drivers license.
Ability to work onsite at our HQ in Kearny NJ.
Flexible schedule with availability 3-5 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
Fluent in English.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work on your feet for 5+ hours in a high paced environment.

Preferred Requirements:
Experience with photography.
Aviation knowledge.
Fluent in additional languages (Spanish, French, & German preferred)

This position is available for immediate hours. We are currently hiring for part-time members, with the opportunity to grow further into the company. Perks include working in a 10,000 square foot terminal, flexible scheduling, and a dog friendly building. And yes, you’ll have chances to fly.
